Greetings!
Innovators
from the start, TelDig Systems' software engineers
constantly explore new technologies and methods to
improve products and help your operations. The
integration of Tadpole Cartesia's Conic software
components will allow TelDig Mobile users to open,
view and work, directly in the application, with
any AM/FM or GIS data files. Files from
Intergraph, Smallworld, ArcInfo, etc., will then
be available in the field. We believe this further
expands the deployment of crucial data to
locators. This provides them with new tools to
easily access important information that will
improve their work and the quality level of their
services.
We
appreciate the time you take on this newsletter.
Regardless of size, TelDig's technology can help
you save money and improve operations. Partly
owned by a Gas Utility, TelDig understands the
business and the concerns for a safe and stable
product. TelDig covers the entire cycle with
feedback: from the One Call Center to the locator
in the field and back.

Locate ticket
screening, a business opportunity to all
|
|
|
Statistics
show that about 20% - 30% of tickets need to be
screened because of missing information or
"wide area" notifications that prevent a
clean assignment to a locator. Someone, then, has to
decide to either send a clearance notice or add the
relevant plant information and assign the ticket to
the locator. Traditionally done by Utilities,
screening services are now outsourced. This article
explores the reasons why screening is necessary, how
it is done and how software tools can help the
locator in the field.
